Every tool accepts a link and returns a file. What differs is what it does with the link.
Video from any supported site → the Video Downloader. Platform-specific pages exist for TikTok, Facebook, X and Reels, but the machinery underneath is the same.
Sound only → the Audio Downloader. It takes the audio stream directly and encodes it to MP3 in one pass, which is faster and cleaner than downloading a video and converting it yourself.
Images → the Photo Downloader for post images, the Profile Picture Downloader for avatars, and the YouTube Thumbnail Downloader for thumbnails in all four sizes YouTube stores.
Something that expires → the Story Downloader, and quickly: stories are withdrawn 24 hours after posting.
Being straight about the boundaries saves everyone time.
Public links only. There is no login step anywhere on this site, and none is planned. Private accounts, friends-only posts, subscriber content, private groups and close-friends stories are all unreachable. A tool that signed in on your behalf would put your account at risk; one that used someone else's would be doing something worse.
Nothing is stored. Files are streamed through to your browser and never written to disk on our side. There is no "your file is ready" queue and nothing to clean up afterwards.
One link at a time. No playlists, no channels, no bulk scraping. Bulk requests are exactly what gets tools like this blocked at the source.
No originals. Every platform re-encodes on upload, so the best available version is already a compressed copy. No tool recovers the uploader's export.
30 minutes. Media longer than this is rejected before the download starts. It is a cost guard. Ordinary clips are nowhere near it; podcast episodes, long lectures and album uploads are what hit it.
20 requests per minute per IP address. Hand-driven use never approaches this. Working through a list of links quickly will, and the symptom looks like a broken tool rather than a rate limit.
1080p on the automatic option. "Best quality (auto)" takes the best video stream at 1080p or below and merges it with the best audio into a single MP4. That merge is the point: many sites publish high-resolution video and audio separately, so picking the highest raw number can hand you a silent file. Higher-resolution raw streams are still listed when the site publishes them.
20 seconds to resolve a link. Past that the request is dropped rather than left spinning. Paste again — transient failures are common, particularly on Instagram and Facebook.
